I was going to write this amazing blog post of the 'feelings' that we had while visiting near Mt Beauty in the Alpine Country Victoria... but I figured I'm going to bore you with mummbo jumbo (Hippy LOL) words... So this time Picture definitely speak louder than words...
Heading into Alpine Country Our trip to Mt Beauty was something that made me stop looking at Facebook on my iPhone LOL you can see why Below is the Tallest Mountain in Victoria - Mt Bogong (not 'Bogan' for my Aussie friends ;-) We went exploring a 'hidden' waterfall that was only found when the 2008 bush fires passed through the region - Between Mt Beauty & Fish Creek). Amazing waterfalls and friendly Butterflys :-) Saying goodbye in the BEST was possible! The HIGHLIGHT for our trip ending was making the decision to drive through the night over the many hills and mountains.... OMG.... words cannot describe the amazing vastness we experiences and the WILDLIFE we're coming out to play. Our kids slept the whole way (4 hours) considering that we left at 7pm.... check out the amazing sunset we experienced! This is my favourite picture.... The vastness of the Alpine country is truly something amazing (I know I keep repeating that word)... so Once again I'll show you in pictures.... (Imagine these pictures in the winter time - cover in a blanket of snow) Night Driving = time to be grateful for many things We hesitated to drive at night time particularly over winding and long (4hours) mountains, but I'm so glad we choose to. Theres nothing that quite compares to driving into the night... but driving up, through and over mountains is just indescribable! I couldn't help but take the time to be grateful for this amazing country we live in AND the amazing life that we have created for yourselves. A lot of reflections and gratitude shared between me and Sam. Along our journey we saw 1 wombat, 2 Deer (one in picture), 1 Fox and 3 cars :-D This was such a wonderful way to say goodbye to the Beautiful Alpine Country - we'll be back soon! ;-)
Remember: the more your grateful for the more you get!

Its been SIX weeks since we have officially hit the road.... can you believe it!? We can hardly, actually I thought we had only been on the road for 4 weeks until Sam pointed out that it has been 6!!! For those of you who have been follow our journey before we began travelling you know that this was something that we prepared for consistently up until the lead up of our journeys, soon I want to share with you some of the 'hows' of creating and living our dream life so that YOU can do the same - so that you can enhance you & your family life for the better and start living your perfect life - what's yours? From 'The Happiest Place on the Murray' to 'Happy Valley'
We travelled from northern Victoria to Alpine Country, funnily enough we stayed on 'the happiest place on the murray' and then (not knowingly) stayed in 'Happy Valley' near Mt Beauty (Vic). It's so amazing there as the towns are few and far between - if you check out a map you will see how vast the Alpine country is - actually how vast Victoria is in general. We travelled 4 hours where we begun in almost desert conditions (dry, hardly any rain) to magnificent scenery and abundance on water and excellent harvests! A-mazing! The picture on the left is just 'some' of the beautiful scenery we experienced along our way. We stayed at an excellent little Morgan's Bridge caravan & camping park which was opposite the icy creek/river (having the water come from the mountains), it was super fresh, crisp and delightful to be around. I just love the smell of fresh water.... so refreshing in more ways that one! We really enjoyed the 'smallness' of the park. It was really lovely to experience this since we have never really experienced parks on the 'smaller scale' before. Watch our short video below of us driving out from Mt Beauty just to get a glimpse of how beautiful it really is! As mentioned in the above video I DID jump into the icy river/creek in a very fashionable way! ;-) See my fun video below. We then had some fun with the kids down at the creek - they love exploring the rocks and Tate's favourite thing was pushing the play stroller into the water LOL. Keeping refreshed in the icy Alpine Creek Important things is Note during the 'Holiday Season' Some interesting and important lessons that we have learnt during this 'holiday period' (Mid December through to end of January) is that most caravan parks on the coast(s) will not have vacancies. We planned on visited the east coast of Victoria from New Years onwards but have not been able to find a 'nice' spot to stay, and if we have the prices have been - what I would call ridiculous (and I'm a generous person!). As a travelling family we rely on parks to stay most of the time. In-fact even free camping sites are mostly full up too! For a while there we felt a bit stuck - we felt really disappointed and just wanted to keep living on the road - we were getting itchy feet big time! So the lesson here is that if we are needing to stay in a caravan park over the holiday period(s) we need to book months in advance! On our part this actually requires planning, which we're realising how valuable planning is to our lifestyle, as I (tara) need time to spend time on my business(s) as well as having family fun! HAVING A PLAN IS ESSENTIAL TO EVERYONES WELLBEING WHEN ON THE ROAD! Next blog post will be more of what we saw on the Alpine Trail and you'll hear about our experience of driving through the mountains at night.
Your's in true Freedom!

After spending christmas with our families in Gippsland, Vic we decided that we wanted to explore Northern Vic a little more, Even though I (tara) spent 6 years living around Echuca area - perspectives are always different when you're 'on the road'. I'm noticing road signs that I've been past many times before and never noticed... and only now noticing because it will say something like 'tourist dive' LOL. We stopped over night in Seymour (pronounced 'see-more') or "see less" depending on which way you look at it! LOL. We only stayed one night at a Family Parks caravan park - we enjoyed their awesome large swimming pool! Ned Kelly Country (Part one)Next we headed into Ned Kelly country (I just love the history of Ned Kelly), we stayed in Benalla for 3 nights and enjoyed some of their surrounds, including their botanic gardens and 'Terracotta' community display. "The Happiest Place on the Murray"After Benella we went towards Echuca, we crossed just over the boarder of Vic/NSW to visit some friends in Barham - "The happiest place on the Murray" I must say that the small community there is something quite special. We enjoyed the friendly & laid-back atmophere. Our kids had so much fun exploring our friends 50 acer property right on the Murray River. Horse Ridding, Motorbike Ridding, Paint fight, wathcing calves be born, bodyrocking with a fellow bodyrocker , getting muddy - just to name a few things. It was so great to connect with likeminded friends again! So much F.U.N!!!! Tears Welled in my eyes as I read this...Recently I received some feedback from the Living For Freedom Family about their experience with our Freedom Family BreakFree Program... tears welled in my eyes as I read that they are now taking steps to live out their dream life! It's such a great feeling knowing that everyday we live in 'our' freedom that we're also inspiring others to do the same..... ahhhh yes, this is real living!!! >>>> "I have just finished the Freedom Family Breakfree Program and it has helped me and my family in a number of different ways. One of the major things that I guess a lot of us struggle with is that life is meant to be joyful and the questions that are asked of us in the program challenge our conventional way of thinking and all these dreams that we have…to travel the world or have an abundance of money…I wish, I wish, I wish…but why do we not think that we can have that. Why do we feel that we have to follow the same path that everyone else follows, career, house, nice car etc. This program has given our family a lot of clarity and a lot of courage to actually say to ourselves that despite the fact that we have previously limited ourselves in what we believe we can do considering our current circumstance that we just have to make our dream happen. The program has helped us come together as a family to define what we can do right now and the steps we can take to get there as quickly as possible. Our dream like the Freedom Family is to travel and we are currently clearing our house and selling ‘Stuff’ in preparation for our travels. We are not worrying about how as we know that as long as we have a goal and take those steps we will get there. Thank you Freedom Family for this program. I found that I couldn’t put it down once I had started and it is a short concise program that is easy to follow. After all Tara has done the work for you she is now living her dream…… The proof is in the pudding!"~ Debbie
You can get you're copy of our BreakFree Program just on our "Live Your Dreams" tab up above. also if you would like to become an 'ambassador for Living in freedom and promoting our program you can click on this link and sign up (its all free) and you can get a whopping 40% commission!!! >>> http://taramauger.com/freedom-family-affiliate/Don't forget that you can connect with us on Facebook >>> and twitter to follow our journey everyday. It was such a great experience to have our first Christmas in our dream camper trailer! We found a mini Christmas tree and set it up in the camper and placed all the presents under there on Christmas eve. We did all the shopping on the night before christmas eve, mainly because we had no where to store the presents without the kids seeing them! The kids were stocked to wake up to a tree and present - so much fun!
We thought long and hard about buying presents, since we are limited on room, but we set out to buy our kids presents as it means something to us to give and they love getting! :-D The things we got were what they were interested in at the time so it fully benefited them to explore their new things. More is less or less is more? So when it comes to the debate "Less is more or is more less" we say whatever happens to be at that time! We all change as we grow, not only physically but emotionally etc. In our family we will always try to make 'room' for any material things that help us have inspired life! My next BIG thing is to get a Kayak! ;-)
Here's to your abundance in all ways!
Tara
Holy moly! Sooooo much has changed since late november - all for the better. As you know we have been aiming to live our 'dream life' for a while now - traveling, living in our beautiful new camper trailer by Jimboomba Camper Trailers. In later November Sam's job had ended and we thought that it would be the most perfect opportunity to bite the bullet - so to speak - and just hit the road and trust that everything will workout. It was a feeling soooo strong within us that this is what we needed to do - like in our Freedom Family breakFree program interview with Sarah & Chris Parent they say "If no now, when?" - For us, this was OUR TIME! Everything in our lives was pointing towards us "just doin it!" Within a few days we decided to sell EVERYTHING that we owned (except for a few sentimental things and of course things that we would use on the road) - we only had 2 weeks to do all of this as we wanted to make it to Victoria in time for christmas with our families. The last week of selling everything was very intense but so worth it!, Sometimes we felt a little concerned if the things we wanted to sell didn't sell "what would we do" (as we didn't want to use storage and really had no attachment and NEED for these things) but my biggest and most powerful feeling and 'knowing' was trusting that everything will work out perfectly - and it did! From House to Camper Trailer It was an interesting transition from house to camper trailer. We set up our camper in our backyard while we gradually moved stuff out of our (rental) house. The most intense experience was just all our 'stuff' there was so much 'stuff' that was just cluttering our house and our minds (in an emotional way). It was kinda like every time we got rid of something we could feel ourselves get lighter and lighter in an emotional way. It was truly a powerful experience! Suddenly everything we own was taken from us - but this is exactly the way wanted it to be! Funny contrast I think when some people think they need more 'things' and 'stuff' to have in their lives to 'value' themselves, but for us having less was defiantly MORE! We drove from Ipswich, QLD to Coffs Harbour, NSW (5 hours) to stay right on the beach at Sapphire Beach Caravan Park where we wanted to chill out for a few days and gather ourselves back together after the last 2 intense weeks. It was perfect! Great weather, fun building sandcastles on the beach (literally 100m walk from where we were camping) and discover some of the cool attractions around Coffs such as The Big Banana - where we learnt that the banana plant is actually a herb & enjoyed some yummy banana treats, tobogganing & harvest tour! & the Pet Porpoise Pool - where we got kissed by dolphins & seals, watched a fabulous dolphin and seal show and fed penguins! It was so much fun for us all! The Moment of Realising That We are Actually LIVING our Dream life!Below is a moment that I wanted to share with our friends here and our followers - it was the moment of actually realising that our dreams are now our relaity. This video was recording just as we were heading out from Ipswich, QLD (where we were living) with everything we own in our 4WD and camper - it was an amazing moment and almost un-discribable, which you'll hear in the video. I'm sharing this with you and for us the moment was incredible and I wanted to inspire you to get excited about YOUR dream life when you being to find and live it! Our Adventures in Coffs Harbour, NSW Australia Not enough time! We decided on spending a week in getting to Victoria, ideally we could have spent months! LOL but we wanted to celebrate Christmas with our families and the great thing that we affirmed to ourselves is that we can travel wherever we like! We travelled all down the coast to Victoria it really is something specail. We had the chance to see friends and stay with them and see parts of the amazing coastline, where defiantly doing it again but in a much longer timeframe! Our 2nd stop was Penrose, NSW where we were blessed to spend some time with friends and our kids had such fun painting, playing in sand pit and discovering their surroundings (in the middle of the bush - well so it seemed :-) We experienced some beautiful scenery, some messy painting & beautiful crisp mornings, rainbows like I've never experienced before, and fun watching our kids with sparklers! >> The 2nd Best Caravan Park we have stayed at yet! From Penrose we traveled through Canberra (Australia Capital Territory), Through Bega (You know Bega Cheese?) right through to just past the beautiful Eden on the southern coast of NSW where we stayed at Tarthra at the 2nd best Caravan Park we have stayed at yet! Countryside Caravan Park was fabulous! The had fantastic facilities for everybody in our family! We only stayed one night (defiantly going back though) and we enjoyed there small animal farm where they had alpacas, goats, sheep, chooks and deer! They have fabulous play equipment for the kids - it was also great for my morning BodyRock workouts, where I planned my own workout with all the play equipment! They have a pool and a JUMPING PILLOW (our favourite)!!! Our dog Zeus enjoyed there full enclosed dog run - how cool! This park had everything we would have spent christmas there if we hadn't already committed! We left Tarthra crossing the Victorian border heading for Gippsland, where we will spend Christmas. Love travelling! This is defiantly our perfect lifestyle for us at this time! Tara
Recently Sam and I celebrated out 5th year wedding anniversary - romantically! - WITH our kids! "wow! is that ever possible?" We are strong believers in hang a balance in life and that our children learn from what they see - so we wanted to show them some romance! At about 10pm the night before our actually anniversary date we spontaneously decided that we wanted to do some special - I wanted a romantic getaway - a bubble bath, swimming pool, delicious food, nice drinks and great company! At first thought this all sounds like 'too much' and that it would cost a fortune, but those doubtful beliefs didn't stop us from googleing!
Nice surprises We had so many options to choose from! We decided to head into Brisbane city to the lovely Watermark Hotel, we just wanted one night but we wanted the 'works'. We arrived early afternoon and got up to out room with the lovely surprise of a box of chocolates, massage oil, bubble bath, bath bomb & chocolate body sauce! (which Charley ate LOL)! I loved seeing and feeling the excitement of both sam & I and the kids, so much fun! so we got into the chocolates while we looked out the window to see the city view. The next best thing was to go for a swim in their pool…. we had the pool all to ourselves! Charley is really enjoying swimming at the moment so she was thrilled! After our swim we decided that it would be fun to walk into the CBD and explore the surroundings, get something to eat and watch 'city life'. Our initial thought that was it would be fun go somewhere for dinner, then we spontaneously (there's that awesome word again) that It would be heaps more fun to buy stuff from the supermarket and eat in the beautiful Roma Street Park that was opposite our hotel that we explored earlier on. Check out our video below of the Roma St Gardens, Brisbane We all played in the park with each other. I love these moments when we're all giggling and having so much fun… all barriers are down and we're just celebrating 'togetherness' - these are moments that we need to remember more often!
We got back to our room with yet another wonderful 'sexy' delight :-) Strawberries (massive ones) covered in chocolate….. OH MY GOD!!!! PLUS a bottle of champagne which we asked to swap for red wine, and they happily did so (no extra charge)! Our kids enjoyed a bubble bath while sam and I chatted. Included in our Temptation for 2 package was a New release movie of our choice…. we didn't go for a 'romantic' movie instead we choose the Hang Over 2 :-D. Sam and I felt like some drinkies.... cocktails and in particular - Toberlone cocktail, it's our favourite. Sam requested these through the bar, they actually didn't know how to make them, so they googled it and check out the result!!!! This was a WOW factor, Chunks and all! We've had these in the past and these ones made for us are 2nd to none! The night just continued to get better and better! Buffet Breakfast! YUM! After our fun and well rested night we had THE BEST buffet breakfast EVER!!!! 5 years ago we had a good one at the Hilton Hotel in Melbourne, but this - was TOPS!!!! (I love how life experiences just gets better and better!) There was everything yummy! Pastries (chocolate filled & berried filled), eggs (Scrambled & sunny side up), bacon, mushroom tomato garlic yumminess (I loved this!), cereal, toast, juices, fresh fruit, there was just sooooo much! Sam and I dove in and ate sooo much (love it when someone else cooks) and the kids hardly ate anything… we laughed on the funniness of this! What a wonderful ROMANTIC time we had. I loved that our kids don't limit us with our decisions… we just work 'around' it. We always make sure there is something for everyone and our kids just dive into new experiences. I loved that they could see all types of situations like Romantic ones, Camping, Adventurous… whatever. This must expand their minds so much and they can truly grasp all different aspect of life on many different levels! So don't delay! Get your romantic on today! - kids n all!Only recently have we learnt how to lead a limitless life - Breaking through limiting beliefs that had stopped us from doing what we DESIRED! You know what... ANYTHING is possible! and I truly mean that. I often have people approach me saying "it so great that you can live like you do.... but I wouldn't be able to because of.... my kids... or job... or whatever" EXCUSES!!!! If you really want it you can HAVE it! We are living proof (And we never thought we would be this proof!) STOP limiting yourself... You deserve to have an AWE-SOME life filled with all your desires! BreakFree of limits here!
Recently we have been staying on and near the MAGNIFICENT Whitsunday's Australia, specifically Airlie Beach & on long Island. It feels like magic up there in North Queensland! Words can hardly describe the feeling! Our dream camper trailer all set up :-) Sam & I brought our DREAM camper trailer about 1 week 1/2 before we traveled 14 hours to get there. Driving along with our new camper trailer (nice & sparkly) felt like we just got new clothes or a hair cut - you know that feeling, when it seems that everyone seems to notice you! :-) It was an awesome feeling knowing what we had manifested. A true blessing! We will share the story with you soon about how we manifested it!. We were truly blessed to stay at Airlie Beach Adventure Big 4 - this place is truly OUTSTANDING!!!! 2nd to none (so far :-) While we were staying there we were helping run the kids activities for the Australian Unschooling Conference which ran over 5 days. The conference was OUTSTANDING and the Big 4 just made it such a pleasure to run hold a conference there! They always went out of their way to help. And for us personally we have serval things come up with learning to 'use' our new camper trailer (3 in total LOL) and the management there helped us fix every issue - no worries at all! Totally awesome staff! HIGHLY reccomend this place just check out some of our pics below on there awesome facilities! Exploring the Great Barrier Reef on the boat - 1 1/2 hour ride to 'Reef World' gosh! words cannot describe the reef.... wow! We cruised with FantaSea to have our fun times out in the middle of the ocean exploring the reef - it was exceptional! This was our first (and not last) time exploring the reef like this and I felt so blessed for our kids to experience this too. To make things extra special - we were Celebrating Charley's 3rd birthday! Below is a video of our experience on the reef and before hand travelling to it. So much FUN!!! This world surely has some magical & life changing places! When we visit places we like to 'soak up' the atmosphere and what this means is that this impact us for life. The memories live forever. And not only are the memories great but also the emotions that go with it - this I feel has a huge life changing impact, if you allow it! Some places are quite 'magical' - I'm sure you have experienced this before, unable to explain just how good it was. That is what I truly love about this world - that it certain places can have such an impact on us AND be LIFE CHANGING. I guess thats why people love 'vaccations' so much! People look and seem different when they return form places - I'm sure you can resonate! Island Life..... Dream's do come true! Our Island getaway! Long Island Resort We stayed on a remote Island Resort (Long Island) on the Whitsunday's. The magically thing for us about this place was that 5 years ago Sam & I visited here - we were on our honeymoon and we promised ourselves that when we had kids we would bring them back to the Island.... DREAMS DO COME TRUE!!!! It was like it was such a STRONG feeling inside us that it just HAD to manifest, and it did! For me I loved lazying in the sun and then getting in the beautiful ocean water - so pristine! The kids loved exploring. We found these a-mazing mangrove trees that were so much fun to climb in & through! Sam loved the bar... LOL - mind you I liked it too! This resort was very family friendly too, lots of activities included in the costs of staying there like canoeing, snorkelling etc. We requested a beach front room - which I suggest you do too if/when you go with kids as the kids can just wander out onto the sand/beach with you being able to watch them from your patio or room - life is good :-) oh and they had full internet access/mobile phone reception, so I could still coach people while staying there, which was EXACTLY what I was after! For me and Sam it was soo nice to be back - living out our dreams with our dream made children - such a blessing, we are so grateful each day! Feeling good ALL the time on just on 'holidays' Exploring magical places like this always opens our eyes up to so much more potential. Have you ever tried this - going to visit a different place, and while being there you feel different you act different and you wonder why life can't be like this all the time? Well my friends, it CAN be like that all the time. Feeling good comes from within and its always a choice to feel good. Circumstances around us can effect us in either positive or negative ways - BUT ULTIMATELY WE CHOOSE! I was glad to get back to what I know, because I have sooooo much planned for growth in my business and life. When I got back to a 'rhythm' I felt lost for a little bit, not knowing where to start with all my ideas. YOU and only YOU choose the life you live.
